Liv says that Becky is right, and people are watching her, and that scares Becky, because they are watching because they do want to see her win the title. He says it’s not because he’s afraid, and Edge teases charging at him and he poos himself. Edge accepts but tells Miz that they can fight right now, but Miz says no. Miz says that Edge is a hypocrite, and that 2022 will be the year of the Miz, challenging him to a match “at January 1” (sic). Edge says that Miz wants to blame everybody else, but he needs to look in the mirror, which will tell him the same thing it told him in 2006, that he’s an ass. Edge says that it was in this arena that he pulled Miz aside and told him that he did have something, and to keep at it, but Miz brushed him off. Miz says that he wasn’t kicked out for eating chicken, he was kicked out because he had it and everyone was trying to protect their spot. Miz says that he doesn’t need his kindness now, he needed it back in 2006 when he first started in WWE. Edge then gasses up his Jordans, guess that’s him banned from AEW now. Miz says that this Edge sounds mentally weak. Miz says that he thinks the Rated R Superstar has lost his EDGE. Miz now invites Edge out to the ring.Įdge says that he meant the compliments last week, and he still means them. Miz says he rewatched the segment last week, and he couldn’t believe that Edge complimented him. He says she would have been here but she doesn’t come to places like Memphis. It’s now time for Miz TV, the sequel to last week’s hot segment. Becky goes for the Manhandle Slam but Liv coutners it into a cradle, which Becky reverses into a cradle of her own, grabbing the rope to retain the title. Becky turns it into the Dis-Arm-Her but Liv gets her feet on the rope. Liv nails a Missile Dropkick for a two count, and Liv counters it into Rings of Saturn. Liv instead hits the knees for a two count. Liv gets Becky in position for the Ob-Liv-ion but Becky avoids it. Liv clocks Becky with a big enziguiri and both women are down. Becky nails a leg drop onto Liv who is hung up in the ropes for a two. Becky drops Liv with a Superplex after she goes up top as we go to the break.īecky is on top as we return from the break. Liv hits a Double Knee Facebuster on the outside, but needs to roll the champion in the ring. Liv goes for the early cover but Becky slides out of it. Becky mocks Liv from the get go, and Liv goes for the early attempt at Ob-Liv-ion but Becky rolls to the outside. The bell rings and Liv’s big match is underway.
